The Mighty Moo decorated for Christmas!

Nice Christmas decorations for the annual Navy Base San Diego OPERATION HOLIDAY LIGHTS. The photo was posted on the facebook page of the USS COWPENS (CG83) also known as "The Mighty Moo" which is one of the Third Fleet's finest ships!

Holiday decorations in my home town

Holiday decorations in my little hometown of Cowpens, South Carolina.   The old train depot was built in1896 and was in service until the mid 1950's. It has been at this spot as a museum since the mid  90's. My mom and dad celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary here.

Cookies from aunt Emily's recipe

We are taking these no bake Chocolate Oatmeal Fudge cookies to our Christmas Eve in Cowpens family Christmas party tonight.  Aunt Emily taught me how make these when I was a kid. She also taught me how to eat Hershey's chocolate bars with popcorn, but that is another story for another day!
